Each day we’re presented with countless choices. They include the decision to:
• Trust and obey God. Or not.
• Take responsibility for transgressing His moral and natural laws. Or not.
• Do things that promote personal well being that will result in welfare towards others. Or not.
What’s your most recent choice when it comes to health?
“God has given us the power of choice; it is ours to exercise. We cannot change our hearts, we cannot control our thoughts, our impulses, our affections. We cannot make ourselves pure, fit for God’s service. But we can choose to serve God; we can give Him our will.” The Ministry of Healing, 93.2
“Let it be made plain that the way of God’s commandments is the way of life. God has established the laws of nature, but His laws are not arbitrary exactions. Every “Thou shalt not,” whether in physical or in moral law, implies a promise. If we obey it, blessing will attend our steps. God never forces us to do right, but He seeks to save us from the evil and lead us to the good. “ The Ministry of Healing, 114.1
It is through the right exercise of the will strengthened by Christ that a change may be made in the life. Therefore it is essential both to understand the KEY health principles and to have the knowledge of ONES SELF , the knowledge of the body, in order to choose right.
“This living machinery is to be understood. Every part of its wonderful mechanism is to be carefully studied. Self-preservation is to be practiced.”Letters and Manuscripts — Volume 12
“All the physical organs are the servants of the mind, and the nerves are the messengers that transmit its orders to every part of the body, guiding the motions of the living machinery.” Fundamentals of Christian Education, 426
Before we act, we think, before we move in any direction, we think…
“Since the mind and the soul find expression through the body, both mental and spiritual vigor are in great degree dependent upon physical strength and activity; whatever promotes physical health promotes the development of a strong mind and a well-balanced character. Without health no one can as distinctly understand or as completely fulfill his or her obligations to oneself, to other persons, or to the Creator. Therefore the health should be as faithfully guarded as the character. A knowledge of physiology and hygiene should be the basis of all educational effort.” Education, 195
Today, many people of God promote an alarming indifference in regard to the principles of health – 8 laws that govern humans beings. Even of those who have a knowledge of these principles, there are few who put them in practice.
Paul calls us not to be “conformed to this world” but be transformed by the renewing of our minds “that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.” Romans 12:2
Another words, shifting our patterns and focus must change our lifestyle. However, “renewing our minds”, changing the way we think to create a better life for ourselves that will honor God, only possible if we obtain knowledge, have an understanding of Gods Will and walk in His ways.
Practically, we should have a sound body and mind to render the most effective service to God and to others because the care of the body personally is fully an expression of Christian commitment. Personal health is a God given trust essential to a personal preparation for the Second Advent.
We have a responsibility to care for our bodies.
This responsibility includes attention to diet, as well as abstinence from any stimulants like alcohol and tobacco, coffee, tea ( caffeinated), rest, intelligent use of water, exercise, temperance, fresh air, sunlight, trust in God. The person who knowingly violates these simple health principles is bringing disease, or disability and living in violation of the moral and natural laws of Christ.
Proverbs 26:2 tells us that “the curse causeless shall not come.”
Another words there’s no sickness, no cause that comes without a reason. Where there’s a cause, there would be an effect. What we sow, that we’ll reap.
“The Lord has made it a part of his plan that man’s reaping shall be according to his sowing. And this is the explanation of the misery and suffering in our world, which is charged back upon God. “ Healthful Living, 25.2
So we need to know what we are and how to preserve this “living machinery”, that our body, and spirit may be consecrated to His service.
If we do all we can on our part to have health, then we can expect that the blessed results will follow, and we can ask God in faith to bless our efforts for the preservation of health.
Humans are complex organisms made up of trillions of cells, each with their own structure and function. Fore example, in one drop of blood, there 250 million blood cell!
WE ARE A BUNCH OF CELLS!
There are over 200 different cell types in the human body. Each type of cells is specialised to carry out a particular function, either solely, but usually by forming a particular tissue. Different tissues then combine and form specific organs, where the organ is like a factory where every type of cell has its own job.

Let’s take a look at the cell.
What is it?
Cells are the basic building blocks of living things. They come in all different sizes and shapes. We have muscles cells, bones cells, skin cells, brain cells, nervous cells, heart cells, liver cells, blood cells etc. Cells can replicate their DNA precisely.
We are constantly are being remade!! Your eyes cells turn over is 2-3 days. As a matter of fact you have to have a new body every 1-2 years.
The question than is if we are constantly are being remade, why are so many people sick?
What is DNA and it’s replication?
DNA replication is one of the most basic processes that occurs within a cell. Each time a cell divides, the two resulting daughter cells must contain exactly the same genetic information, or DNA, as the parent cell. To accomplish this, each strand of existing DNA acts as a template for replication.
In order for cells to be copied, it must have all the pieces of ingredients, a set of genetic instructions, that found in our genes. The information is all stored up in the DNA on how to make a new body!
DNA, or deoxyribonucleic acid, is the hereditary material in humans and almost all other organisms. Nearly every cell in a person’s body has the same DNA. Most DNA is located in the cell nucleus (where it is called nuclear DNA). DNA is the genetic code, and BEHIND THE CODE IS THE MIND!!
Human DNA is made up of around 3 billion base pairs, and more than 99% of those bases are the same in all people, according to the US. National Library of Medicine.
Do you know that DNA is described in the bible? Psalm 139:16 “Thine eyes did see my substance, yet being unperfect, And in thy book all my members were written, Which in continuance were fashioned, When as yet there was none of them.”

The DNA code determines whether you black or white, blue eyes or brown, curly hair or straight and etc.
The discovery in 1953 of the double helix, the twisted-ladder structure of deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA), by James Watson and Francis Crick marked a milestone in the history of science. They discovered that each human cell, except the blood cells, contains approximately 2 meters of DNA, it’s a little more then 6’5 inches if stretched end-to-end; yet the nucleus of a human cell, which contains the DNA, is only about 6 micrometer( MAIcrometer) in diameter.
This is geometrically equivalent to packing 24 miles extremely fine thread into a tennis ball! WHAT A MIND BEHIND THIS CODE!
Bill Gates said that human DNA is the “Computer Program” more advanced than software. The structure of DNA allows it to store information in the form of a four-character digital code. Strings of precisely sequenced chemicals called nucleotide bases store and transmit the assembly instructions — the information — for building the crucial protein molecules and “machines” that cells need to survive.
Crick later developed this idea with his famous “sequence hypothesis” according to which the chemical constituents in DNA function like letters in a written language or digital symbols in a section of computer code. Just as English letters may convey a particular message depending on their arrangement, certain sequences of chemical bases along the spine of a DNA molecule convey precise instructions for building proteins. Thus, the DNA molecule has the same property of “sequence specificity” that characterizes written text and computer code. Dawkins himself has acknowledged, “The machine code of the genes is uncannily computer-like.” And Bill Gates has noted, “DNA is like a computer program, but far, far more advanced than any software we’ve ever created.”
Since the 1960s, further discoveries made clear that the digital information in DNA and its cellular neighbor RNA is only part of a complex information processing system — an advanced form of nanotechnology that both mirrors and exceeds our own in its complexity, design logic and information storage density.
Only Intelligence Does This!! There’s an INFINITE MIND BEHIND!
DNA contains information in a digital form and functions much like a software program. We know from experience that software comes from programmers. We know generally that information — whether stored in a computer program, inscribed in hieroglyphics or written in a book — always arises from an intelligent source. So the discovery of information in the DNA molecule provides strong grounds for inferring that a designing intelligence played a role in the origin and history of life.
What happens if the replication of DNA extremely inaccurate??
DNA replication with error leads to a rapid accumulation of mutations that disrupts cellular processes needed for viability and extinguish clonal populations of cells within several generations that leads to all kind of diseases. Replication errors become mutations.
You see, everything has been designed by God to fit perfectly. And if there’s a piece of information missing, the whole body can be out of order. That’s why people are not healing. DNA REPLICATION has errors, it’s damaged, replication becomes chronic mutation.
So what is causing damage to DNA ?
Stay tune….
