Many sunny days and fun times together,
Beautiful flowers grow in all kinds of weather.
A thousand dishes of food to cook and eat,
Warm greetings and hugs whenever friends meet.
Lots of tanks of gasoline as we all like to drive,
Watching the kids play, grow up and thrive.
Sharing funny stories and laughing ‘till we cry,
Reading a good book ‘till the sun tints the sky.
Whatever this year brings we pray God is in it,
That He fashion it together into a perfect fit.
May our thoughts reach heavenward often,
Bringing us closer to Him; pushing us away from sin.
God please shine Your blessing on this year,
May we have tender hearts and ears to hear.
Holy Spirit we need Your presence with us,
‘Cause we know very well, You’re our biggest plus!
