The merciful man is inclined to make less harsh the suffering of even the guilty.
The gracious are full of kindness and love;
The courteous gladly take a lower position, showing favor to someone else.
The Lord God is merciful and gracious—
That’s Beautiful to Me.
The longsuffering endures injuries or offenses for a long time and is very patient.
The good are stable, cheerful, benevolent, companionable, competent,
The righteous have many other desirable qualities including being unblemished.
The Lord God is longsuffering and abounds in goodness—
That’s Beautiful to Me.
God is really less harsh, indeed merciful, to thousands of undeserving people,
He forgives; giving people the power they need to heal and be right again,
But those who persist in wrong-doing, harm themselves and their families.
God promises mercy to all who love Him (Exo. 20:6)—
That’s Beautiful to Me.
I worship You, Lord God because You are the Almighty and no one else is like You.
You treat me so much better than I deserve—You lift me up, I stand again!
The best is this, You want to be with me forever—I desire to be with You too!
My God, You are the amazing treasure that I seek!
YOU ARE most Beautiful to Me!
