Tiny droplets barely hang onto the bottom
Of flowers and plants in the morning light and
The droplets’ warped reflection is dazzling.
This is God’s fleeting glitter to introduce the day.
Broad strokes of various shades of red
Swirled together with lavender and pinks
Are boldly splattered on the canvas of the sky.
This is God’s artwork to end of the day.
Tiny wings carry a bulbous body of light brown,
As each flower is visited and pollen is packed
On the bee’s back legs until they can hold no more.
This is God’s design for the sweetness of honey.
In the mind’s eye we picture the beautiful city
Where Jesus has our mansion already built, and
We imagine walking through its door with joy.
This is God’s promise of the sweetest future.
Small with tiny fingers and toes; how cute!
Learning to walk and talk, then enjoying school,
Finding Jesus is real and loving Him more each day.
This is God’s greatest artistic feat. This is you.
“For it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure.” Philippians 2:13
