Jesus Christ, ever consistent, never wavering.
He is now, as always, seeking the lost.
He desires to be with those who love Him.
He is full of compassion; kind; holy and good.
What we build on Jesus is strong and sure.
Our spiritual life cannot tumble into ruins.
Carefully chosen materials must be used.
So when stressed, faith will stand firm.
“What are we building?” someone may ask.
“Character!” is the immediate reply.
“We would be like Jesus” we exclaim.
He is the Rock we stand on!
No other foundation can any man lay,
We are His workmanship to shine for Him.
When He comes we will be like Him!
Then we are forever safe and blessed.
