Earthly kings conquer and subdue,
But King Jesus pleads and woes.
Let’s see! Open our eyes to behold,
The wonders of Jesus yet untold.
You and Father planned the universe.
Then made provision in case of a curse.
You called out the stars and they did shine.
You spoke—our world entered space and time.
Majestic, powerful, sovereign, ruler.
Kind-hearted, compassionate, tender.
Holy, righteous, faultless, true.
Creator who sees everything through.
One terrible day You hung on a tree.
Because of love—to set us free.
Why do You love us so much?
Why did You undergo man’s cruel touch?
You have it all, everything belongs to You.
You’re all powerful, yet humble and true.
The universe is so big and we’re so small.
Yet You stooped to rescue us from the fall.
We worship You, King Jesus, who saves.
To be with You is what our soul craves.
Your love and character are unmatched.
Only You could make us reattached.
Thank You for giving us hope in our hearts,
Sparking trust is one of Your great arts.
Thank You for calling us brethren and friend,
And for the promise to be with us till the end.
